Bigsby Identification
Need help identifying which “Tension Roller” Bigsby you have? There are 2 types.
If your tension roller is held in place by a 3/16″ axle with a hex set screw underneath the Bigsby, then you have either a Bigsby B5, B7 or B12.
If your tension roller is held in place by a 1/4″ axle with circlips on each end, then you have either a Bigsby B50, B70 or B700.
If your Bigsby is mounted on a Vibramate adapter, you will find that since the adapter already raises the roller (but not quite enough) you will want a Biggsfix that provides just a little less relief than the BTS 5712 2.0. The BTS 5712 VM has 1.5mm less relief and is perfect for Bigsbys mounted on Vibramates.
